"Untitled with R. Kelly" is a placeholder title for four unreleased songs by American recording artist Britney Spears, intended for her fifth studio album, Blackout.
Background[]
In the April 2007 issue of Billboard Magazine, American duo The Runners mentioned that in 2006, they had been "crafting pop beats" for Spears. In 2007, they stated that they had made "good on their claims" by producing for her. They confirmed that they worked on four tracks with Spears, which were written by American singer R. Kelly.[1]
Trivia[]
- In a copyright listing of 17 discs of R. Kelly's music, one track is titled "CR 12-30-09 (Gorgeous) (042910) with no Britney." While the other tracks all include some type of vocal, this track is described as a "mix with no vocal" instead of a demo or pitch. This suggests that Spears may have recorded the track at some point, but it has not been officially confirmed.[2]
