"Trouble" is a song by American singer Elvis Presley, taken from his second soundtrack album, King Creole. It was released on July 29, 1958.
Background[]
In 2007, Spears made headlines with her performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, performing a cover song of Presley' song "Trouble" as as intro to "Gimme More" at the VMAs. In her memoir, The Woman in Me, Spears reveals that she was pressured by her team into performing at the event, despite not feeling ready. She experienced a panic attack just before going on stage. She recalls, "I hated how i looked." Spears also revealed that she ran into her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, before taking the stage.
