Soda Pop was produced by Eric Foster White and written by White and Mikey Bassie, which is featured on the song. With the song having a reggae influence, it is notable for Spears performing it in her natural lower voice. Not only being part of the ...Baby One More Time album, it was included on two other albums: the soundtrack to Pokémon The First Movie, and notably Sabrina The Teenage Witch (The Album), which has an extended version of the song that is 23 seconds longer than the album version. It was also released as a limited CD single that was included on one of the Live In Concert Britney dolls.
