"My Big Secret" is a possible unreleased song by American recording artist Britney Spears, intended for her third studio album Britney, and later reconsidered for her fourth studio album, In the Zone It was produced by The Neptunes.
Background[]
"My Big Secret" is registered on ASCAP and BMI with Spears as a performer.[1] It was described as "a nerd tune" back in 2001.
It was then given to and recorded by Janet Jackson for her album All For You (2001), but it was not released.
Two singles from Spears' album, "I'm a Slave 4 U" and "Boys," were originally written and produced for All for You; the latter also recorded by Jackson.
The song was later recorded and considered for Spears' fourth studio album, though was not released.
Not to be confused with the unreleased outtake "Secret" from her fifth studio album, Blackout.
