"Girl In The Mirror" was written by Jörgen Elofsson. The production was handled by David Kreuger and Per Magnusson; the track's instrumental was finished by the fall of 1999 in Sweden.
The song is included on the international version of the album, at track 12 on every version of the album the song is on.
The song was released in the U.S. on the McDonald's exclusive CD *NSYNC and Britney Spears: Your #1 Requests...And More, which had various tracks by both *NSYNC and Spears.
