"Forever and Ever" is an unreleased song by American recording artist Britney Spears, intended for her fifth studio album, Blackout.
Background[]
In November, 2006, Spears went into the Palms’ recording studio with American producer Lukasz Gottwald to "mix tracks" for her new album.[1] In 2007, Dr. Luke described a track he co-produced with Jack Splash called "All the Way" as a "feel good, upbeat song."[2]
In an interview from January 2010, Splash talked about his projects with Dr. Luke, specifically co-producing "All the Way" (Cathy Dennis) and "Forever and Ever" (Harold Lilly) for Spears. On the chance of the tracks seeing the light of day, Splash said he wouldn't be surprised if they were released someday, mentioning that the songs are "futuristic" and ahead of their time. He said quite a lot of the stuff he made with Dr. Luke during that time still feels fresh.[3]
