"Father's Eyes" is registered on ASCAP and BMI with Spears as a performer.[1]
One of the writers of the song, Ina Wroldsen, who previously worked with Spears on the Femme Fatale track "He About to Lose Me", has not heard anything about Spears covering the song. She said on X "As far as I know boys and girls, Mrs spears is not covering fathers eyes. Xx".[2] The song was released by Scandinavian duo Ask Embla, for their studio album, Northern Light, in 2012.
