Blackout Demo CD

The Blackout Demo CD was a compilation of demos and unreleased tracks recorded by American recording artist Britney Spears for her fifth studio album, Blackout.

Background

In 2006, Spears was photographed holding the CD that was possibly titled, The Black Curtain or Black.

Some tracks on the demo CD are early takes of songs that made it to the final album, like "Gimme More," "Break the Ice," "Outta This World," "Get Back," "Ooh Ooh Baby," "Everybody" and "Get Naked (I Got a Plan)" but with different vocal effects or production. There are also rumored unreleased songs that didn’t make the final cut.

Only seven out of the seventeen tracks on the album made it to the final album.
